By installing Pitta or signing in to the business portal you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.
Using Pitta as a customer
You must be the person in control of the phone number you sign in with.
Orders and bookings you place are contracts between you and that business. Pitta carries the messages and records the status; it does not sell the goods, deliver them, or hold your payment for them.
Brand gift cards are sold by Pitta and issued by our voucher partner. A card that cannot be issued is refunded to the original payment method. Once issued, a card is yours to use under the brand's own terms shown with it; it cannot be returned.
Do not use Pitta to harass, spam, impersonate, or send anything unlawful.
Using Pitta as a business
Pitta is free for businesses. We may add paid options in future, but nothing you use today will start costing money without notice.
You may message only people who follow you or who accepted your request. Bulk lists must contain people who agreed to hear from you. Accounts that send unsolicited messages are blocked.
You are responsible for what you broadcast, the products you list, the prices you quote, and for fulfilling the orders and bookings you accept.
Verified businesses cannot change their name; ask us if a legal name changes.
API keys and webhook secrets are yours to protect. Anything sent with your key is treated as sent by you.
Accounts and devices
One phone can be signed in per customer number at a time; a new login signs out the previous phone. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the law, and we will say why when we do.
Availability and liability
We work hard to keep Pitta running and backed up, but it is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Pitta is not liable for indirect losses, for goods or services supplied by businesses on the platform, or for the terms of gift cards set by the brands that issue them.
Changes
When these terms change we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
